Idea generation



The name i have chosen for the salon is COCO and it is advertised as a "Style Haven" for women. the website will be stylish, fun, fresh and interesting. I want it to appeal to the modern woman

Page 1 is the home page of the website. I wanted the home page to look professional with its style and make the reader interested in the website I did not want to overload the reader with information and images on the first page but i wanted it to appeal to the target audience and give the reader an overall idea of what the website and business is about

Page 2 is the about us page of the website. I wanted the about us page to be more informative then the home page and have more going on with its images and information. i wanted to say what the business is about, the services it provides and describe the employees. I wanted to have images of what the salon looks like and give the idea that the salon can help women who feel overwhelmed with todays beauty and fashion expectations.

I made the salons logo the main image on the top of the page, with beauty images on either side. I have a text box with a famous quote by coco chanel above the main text. and an image of a womans silhoette. i have the navigation bar on the left side and another image on the right side.

Page 2
I have the salons logo on the left side of the page with two images of the salon to the right of the logo. i have the quote underneath these pictures. the navigation bar is located on the left side of the main text and i have two images to the right of the main text.

Style

Page 1.
the style of the page is very fresh, fashionable and modern. I achieved this style by using beauty and fashion images, butterfly images, a light pink background and purple lines dividing the separate sections of the page

like the first page i achieved the main style by using images, butterfly images, purple lines.

Colours

the colours i choose to use were a purple colour in the lines and navigation bar. i think this will look modern and fun. i had trouble with the backgound as i could not apply the background colour. I choose a very light pink colour to put in a text box and i applyed that as the background. I choose the light pink because i wanted to portray a fresh and modern look. i think that the images compliment the colours i have chosen,

the images i use on the first page show the beauty and fashion services of the business and it also has some decoration with the butterfly and siluoette images. the text welcomes you to the site , explains what the business is and the contents of the website.

the images i use on the 2nd page show the interior of the salon, employees of the salon, and a woman. i also have decoration with butterflys and siluoette images the text will tell customers about the business, the mission of the business and briefly describe the services and empolyees.
